betsyfh: Battlestar Galactica fandom on Geocities!

If you haven't heard, Geocities is closing on October 26, 2009. Geocities has played an important role in the history of the Battlestar Galactica fandom. On Fan History Wiki, we want to help chronicle the history of this fandom on Geocities before it is lost forever. We'd love to have you involved.

If you can edit any of the existing articles in the Battlestar Galactica fansites on Geocities category, we would really appreciate it. What role did that fansite play in the fandom? When was it created? When was it last updated? Who did it serve? Where did it move to or why isn't it moving to a new home?

We know that our list of fansites isn't complete. We would love for you to create articles about the fansites we haven't gotten to yet. Template:fansites, Template:fan fiction archives just need to be copy and pasted in to a new article with the name of the article. Then fill out the information and hit save. If you're not comfortable creating an article from scratch, then please edit the information about the fansite (like dates, webmasters, archivists) to the Battlestar Galactica fandom article.

Thank you for your help! We really need it because we don't want to lose the history of this fandom!

mingmerciless: Season 4 and 4.5 boxed sets - Region 1 versus Region 2 extras

It occurs to me I have been a bit slack and not actually got these yet. Anyone know of a handy listing or comparison of the contents of the Region 1 and Region 2 boxed sets?

entil2001: Battlestar Galactica: Season 4 Post-Mortem

Looking back on the fourth and final season of "Battlestar Galactica" is difficult, thanks to the bizarre decision to split the season over such a long period of time. It almost feels as if the fourth season was actually two shorter seasons (which, supposedly, was one way the SciFi Channel wanted to market it). Even so, the season works best when viewed as a whole.
